Zhang Chongfu is Professor in the Graduate Institute for the Study of Daoism and Religious Culture, at Sichuan University in Chengdu. He was Professor of National 985 Project for Religion and Society Research Innovation Base, Sichuan University (2011-2015) and has been supervisors of PhD students in religion since 2014.
Zhang’s research areas include Daoist studies and comparative study of religion. Major publications include: Biography of Daoist Celestial Master Zhang, Saving the World and Benefiting the People: the Legend and Revelation of the Eight Immortals, A Study of Cultivation of the Highest Clarity of Daoism.
